Pride Winnipeg is ‘lighting up the legislature’

To mark the 25th anniversary of Pride celebrations in Winnipeg, Pride Winnipeg will be ‘lighting up the legislature’ tomorrow evening. On Friday, June 3 at 9 p.m. members of the queer community and their supporters will gather at Memorial Park to watch as the front columns of the Manitoba Legislative Building are lit up in rainbow colours, with the Pride 25 logo appearing on the dome of the building, just beneath the Golden Boy.

Queer Beer Comes Out May 19!

Join us for the Queer Beer kickoff at Half Pints brewery this Saturday, May 19. (Click here to read the full news release.) Last year, Queer Beer sold out in a matter of hours, prompting Half Pints to quickly brew a second batch. This year, Queer Beer features a fresh, bold new look and a brand new taste. It will also be sold for the first time ever in handy six-packs. You can find Queer Beer at four MLCC locations this year beginning Tuesday, May 22: River and Osborne, Portage and Burnell, Hargrave and Ellice, and Grant Park. It will also be available at select locations including Gio’s, Fame, and Club 200.
