There’s more to Pride Winnipeg than Pride Day!

For some people, celebrating Pride culminates in Pride Day activities – the rally at the legislature, the parade through downtown Winnipeg, and the Pride Festival that follows. But there’s a whole week of activities that lead up to the big day, and we want you to be involved!

Pride Week is a week-long celebration of GLBTTQ* culture in ourcommunity, and there’s no shortage of events throughout the week – fromsports tournaments to fashion shows, from swanky cocktail parties tocoffee house performances by the city’s GLBTTQ* artists.

Pride Week 2010 will feature some exciting new additions thatwill bring a fresh face to the festivities – so stay tuned as we makesome exciting announcements leading up to this year’s celebrations!

We urge you to support Pride Week activities. And if you wouldlike to propose an event of your own, don’t hesitate to contact usweare always open to new ideas!
