The Pride Winnipeg Festival
Pride 25 – Celebrating a quarter century of Pride!
The Pride Winnipeg Festival is a multi-day celebration with many events for all segments of our diverse community all leading up to our main PRIDE DAY celebrations on Sunday June 3, 2012.
Thousands of people are expected to mark the historic occasion of our 25th anniversary by participating in the 2012 Pride Winnipeg celebrations, which include the Rally, Parade through downtown Winnipeg, and outdoor Festival at the Forks. As always, Pride Day events are FREE & open to the public!
Sunday June 3, 2012 Pride Events
Rally at Legislature
11:00 am – The Legislative Grounds (Broadway and Memorial)
Join us for the Pride Rally on the steps of the Manitoba Legislature for entertaining speakers and music to raise your spirits.
Pride Parade
12:00 pm – Begins after the Rally
Thousands of people are expected to join in the annual Pride Parade and march together through downtown Winnipeg to commemorate 25 years of Pride in Winnipeg!
Festival at the Forks
1:00 pm – 6:30 pm at The Forks Festival Grounds
After the parade ends at the grounds of the Legislature, make your way to The Forks where we have incredible live entertainment beginning at 1:30 pm, the Pride Mart, and Beer Tent!
Official Dance Party
The biggest dance event of the year for Winnipeg’s LGBTTQ community. With over 800 attendees in 2010, this is the party everyone talks about.
