Events: What's Happening At Pride?

Winnipeg Pride is a 10-day festival with many events for all segments of our diverse community all leading up to our main PRIDE DAY celebrations on Sunday June 6, 2010.

The Winnipeg Pride Committee focuses on producing quality events that are available to the GLBTTQ* Community and it's supporters as a whole. The Pride Day events are free to the public to come and enjoy. Our only ticketed event is our Fusion Dance Party which is the ultimate way to finish off your Winnipeg Pride experience.

Official Winnipeg Pride Festival Events

Pride Flag Raising at City Hall - Friday June 4

12:00 Noon - City Hall - 510 Main Street

The ceremonial kick-off to Winnipeg Pride. This is the only time the Rainbow Flag flies above city hall and it's a sight to be seen. Don't miss out! 

Pride Day Celebrations - Sunday June 6

Pride Rally & Parade

12:00 pm - Pride Rally at the Legislature
12:30 pm - Pride Parade through Downtown

The Rally at the Legislative grounds is a time honoured tradition celebrating the birth-place of Winnipeg Pride. This is also where the Pride Parade begins before heading through downtown Winnipeg towards the Festival grounds.

Pride Festival at the Forks Market - NEW!

Pride Parade ends at the Forks Market at 1:00pm for a fabulous festival which includes a Free outdoor concert on the Forks giant outdoor stage, Lambda Business Fair, and another first - a beer tent!

Official Dance Party - Fusion: White & Wild

Fusion: White and Wild -  The Official Pride Dance Party

The biggest dance event of the year for Winnipeg's LGBTTQ community. With over 800 attendees in 2009 and an expected sell out of 1000, this is the party everyone talks about.
